Periods 1 & 2: English 12
Monday, Feb. 7--Introduce Vocab. Unit 6 (#s 1-7); "On the Rainy River" chapter of The Things They Carried is due
Tuesday, Feb. 8--Introduce Vocab. Unit 6 (#s 8-14); continue modifiers (adjectives & adverbs); A Streetcar Named Desire essays will be returned (record in writing portfolios)
Wednesday, Feb. 9 & Thursday, Feb. 10--Introduce Vocab. Unit 6 (#s 15-20); review modifiers; compose letter apprising Ms. Pasciullo of research paper topic & "What Do I Know" pre-research
Friday, Feb. 11--Quiz on Vocab. Unit 6 & Modifiers
Monday, Feb. 15--Chapter "How to Tell a True War Story" from The Things They Carried is due

Period 4A: 11 AP G/T
Monday, Feb. 7--"Edna as Psyche" presentation (Rachel B, Jenni & Jen); introduce Vocab. Unit 6, #s 1-10 (William); introduce dangling and misplaced modifiers; distribute Research Paper info
Wednesday, Feb. 9--Review dangling and misplaced modifiers; introduce Vocab. Unit 6, #s 11-20 (William); begin Death of a Salesman by Arthur Miller
Friday, Feb. 11--Quiz on Vocab. Unit 6 & Modifiers; continue Death of a Salesman
Tuesday, Feb. 15--Research Paper "letter of intent" is due

Period 4B: Humanities III
Tuesday, Feb. 8--Three Presentations: "The Awakening vs. 'The Yellow Wallpaper'" (Ryan, Harsha, Pingfan), "Rites of Passage" (Grace, Sarah, Christina, Michelle), "Depression" (Rachel, Nika, Katelyn, Tessa); The Awakening essays are due
Thursday, Feb. 10--Modifiers; Introduce Vocab. Unit 6 (Michelle); Distribute research paper info; Return and record "The Story of an Hour" analysis & original poems; compose 11th grade quarterly reflection

Period 5: 11 Honors
Monday, Feb. 7--Collect Huck Finn essays and books; distribute and review info on Research Paper
Thursday, Feb. 10--Letter of Intent for Research Paper is due
Throughout the week, we will be reading Death of a Salesman in class
